THE ENDLING

"You are the Endling. The last. After this, it will all change"

Visuaully beautiful, and laugh out loud funny, Strange Futures  use their 'Powerful physicality' (Scotsman 2019)  to discuss enviromental and species extinction in their new show, The Endling.

Workshopped with Julian Spooner of Rhum and Clay.

The Endling is Strange Future’s third touring show, referencing climate justice, and is designed to play in intimate spaces, creating a bond with its audiences through its quirky humour and physical ingenuity.

In this pertinent, thoughtful, offbeat performance, Strange Futures ask some difficult questions, without blaming. How can we stop viewing ourselves as separate from the rest of the living world? Should we, perhaps, be choosing to move towards a human Endling?

What if that Endling was you?

The Endling, runs at approximately 1 hour, has simple set and technical requirements and is ideally suited to small scale venues and theatre festivals. The Endling, with its contemporary style and themes, is suitable for audiences of adults and young people, 12+.
